The biobibliography is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of translator, literary critic, publicist Argentina Cupcea-Josu, sister of the famous actor and director Valeriu Cupcea. Over the years, Argentina Cupcea-Josu holds the position of Romanian literature teacher, senior lecturer at the Pedagogical Institute "I. Creangă" from Chisinau, scientific researcher at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the RSSM, responsible secretary at the magazine "Femeia Moldovei", member of the Moldovan Writers' Union. Translates the novels: "Red and Black" by Stendhal, "Bel-Ami" by Guy de Maupassant, "The Lady with the Camellias" by Alexandre Dumas, "The Hour of Deserted Hearts" by Jonas Avižius, short stories by A. Chekhov, M. Gorki , M. Šolohov, M. Bulgakov, K. Paustovski, M. Twain, poems by V. Mayakovsky and others. He is co-author and co-editor of the "Chisinau" Encyclopedia.
