Evoluţia serviciilor de biblioteci pentru persoanele dezavantajate în contextul democratizării sociale

Abstract

The thesis treats the library Services for disable persons. It is defined the disable persons category, it is realized a historic research of the problem, on national and international level, are examined the legislation and defining concepts of the filed. It was concluded that the West-European vision is focused on library adjustment to disable persons needs, and the East-European - on the concept of medical institutionalization and special pedagogy. The research explore the defining components of the area within institution system of the „B.P. Hasdeu” Municipal Library, within other types of libraries (from the Republic of Moldova - the library network, library building adjustment to the disable persons needs, library collections, librarian’s attitudes in regard to this category, disable people’s access (physical, axiological and methodological) of the library Services, disable people’s requirements for library Services, etc.
