Abstract

This work is intended for public librarians, LIS students etc. The manual presents the overview of the theoretical issues regarding the processing of documents and refers to theoretical notions of bibliographic description, standardization issues, library software, etc. The paper also presents the methodology of bibliographic description of different types of documents in rules and examples.
