Abstract

This study is devoted to a topical issue - library services for disadvantaged people in the context of a pressing need to democratize access to information, culture and community interrelationships. The topic of the study was not addressed at all in our space until the steps of the author, Dr. Conf. Lidia Kulikovski. The author summarizes the theories, concepts and international and national experiences (sporadic) in the field, proposing, based on extensive and significant experiments, a system of principles, objectives and methodologies for library services that can benefit disadvantaged people.
